已有土木的硕士学位，可否申请Illinois的土木硕士？I have a master’s degree in civil engineering from another university. May I apply for a second master’s in civil engineering at Illinois?
The University of Illinois does not generally allow a second master’s degree in the same field of study. The basis for this policy is that an individual should not receive a second degree for work that is substantially similar to the work used to complete the first degree. However, a second degree may be allowed in cases where it is clear that the student's degree programs differ significantly.
