.Academics: Interesting, insightful professors who really do a lot of research in their field. I always walk out of class learning something new, not just about the subject but also about the professor and the research they have done.
.Academics: Like any college, you will have some good professors and some poor ones but all in all, there are plenty of proclaimed, excellent professors that anyone would be lucky to have. Registration is quite easy and can be done in the comfort of anywhere you have WiFi access. Also, wireless internet is available all throughout campus for students and is available for guests as well free of charge. Every so often, the wireless may be unreliable but this is rare, and even when it does happen, there are plenty of computer labs throughout the dorms and academic buildings that everyone has access to.
.Majors: My program's admissions policies were fair and emphasized diversity in races, occupations, life experience, and backgrounds. I think asking the candidates more questions regarding what their experiences have been would aid admissions in focusing on this important aspect of the class experience.
.Majors: It is a challenging program with a heavy workload but very rewarding. I am very satisfied with the education I have received and would highly recommend the dental hygiene e-completion program.
.Diversity: There's so many people on campus and the student population is pretty diverse. I'd say that you would need to make an effort to find that diversity simply because there's so many students; it's easy to become friends with people just like you and get stuck in that rut.
.Diversity: There is a lot of diversity and acceptance in terms of sexual orientation and economic background, but recently there have been a lot of issues with racial and ethnic diversity. The school is primarily white, and while the vast majority of students are extremely accepting, there are several examples of racial intolerance or targeting by the administration. However, the overall environment of students is very open and welcoming to all people.
.Guys & Girls: Many people feel open to express their own styles and choices as far as their appearance goes. People are comfortable being themselves, which is great. There are many opportunities for people with all different experiences and goals to find friends and social opportunities.
.Guys & Girls: There are some really nice and really cool people. Not everyone is an arrogant jerk like the reputation says, but those people are definitely here. There are some people who are only focused on success and their schoolwork, but then again, it is Ann Arbor and you can certainly find people who are really cool and laid-back.
.Administration: U-M is great because it recognizes when students will do activities like drinking anyway and, instead of trying to prevent it, they give the tools needed to keep their students safe (like the Stay in the Blue app).
.Administration: For the most part, when it comes to alcohol, you will only receive violations or warning when you are being a nuisance and drawing attention to yourself. The police don't generally breakup parties too often but sometimes will be around or near the scene just to assure that everything is okay and that things don't get too far out of hand.
.Campus Food: Most of the dining halls have respectable food, but they are often so crowded that you cannot find a seat or you have to squeeze a chair into a full table. I have found that East Quad does has this problem, not too mention they have very limited hours of service.
