在University of Rochester罗切斯特大学就读是怎样一番体验，【携尔留学】给大家翻译整理了罗切斯特大学的留学体验，以供参考。
.Academics: The biomedical engineering department is made up the most diverse faculty, and yet the curriculum is very solid and teaches students to think in the field. Workload is very heavy, but that is expected from such a demanding major.
.Academics: The chemistry department has great faculty that want to help you and give you the best education possible. Professors are easy to talk to and have a lot of internship and teaching assistant positions available.
.Academics: Professors are great. Curriculum is open and based on a cluster system, meaning you have the freedom to choose preferred classes (or pick your poison, as the case may be).
.Majors: The professors in the Political Science are committed to providing a well-rounded education.
.Majors: If I could do it over again I would choose the same program. I would like to go to graduate school for marketing and advertising and I think I am prepared to do so. I do have concerns about availability of jobs, but I think I could hold my own in an interview.
.Diversity: There is a lot of diversity here. People are from all over the world and come from all sorts of different backgrounds.
.Diversity: The campus is home to people of various ethnicity, nationalities, religion and sexual orientation. I have never seen a place where the university and the people are so accepting to others. Definitely a place for someone who wants to experience the diversity culture to the max.
.Diversity: Seems quite diverse to me. I've met people from every continent. That being said it's still about 60% white and at least half are from the state of NY.
.Guys & Girls: I really like the people at this school. They are fairly hard working and nerdy, but fun-loving and kind. I really enjoy my peers.
.Guys & Girls: I'm convinced that everyone who goes to this school is a good person. Everyone is genuinely nice and wants to help each other out.
.Administration: Campus is strict when it needs to be. They aren't over-dominating, but they aren't carefree either.
.Administration: The administrators are fairly reasonable and want the best for their students. I heard that the president would like to get rid of greek life on campus; however, the board of trustees won't allow that to happen.
.Athletics: Although Rochester is not a top-tier school in athletics, there are definitely numerous opportunities for sports!
.Athletics: I am a member of a varsity team and I think the dedication the school makes to each and every team is fantastic and extremely supportive.
.Campus Food: Honestly, I love the food here. I mean it is no five star restaurant, but the type of food we get despite us being in a college setting is amazing. Also I love Panda and the dining halls have great dishes sometimes.
.Campus Food: Dining is great. So many options. However, the plans cost a lot of money.
.Campus Food: New Dining Hall Changes Everything – With the renovation of Danforth Dining hall, the University has almost completely removed their past stigma of poor food quality. The new dining hall offers new high quality meals every day with options for everybody in an enjoyable atmosphere. The only reason why I can't give the dining an A is because of the other dining hall.
.Campus Housing: Dorms are the biggest dorms I've seen. By sophomore year you live in a suite with your own room bathroom and kitchen.
.Campus Housing: My hall is very social. There are, of course, a few who are rather quiet and don't spend much time out of their rooms. Overall, my dorm is nice; however, the cost is way too much for what people pay get.
.Health & Safety: I've never felt unsafe when walking around campus, even when it's late at night.
.Health & Safety: Despite past criticism and warnings, I feel very safe on this campus when I walk around.
.Health & Safety: It's a small campus with plenty of lights and safety phones. No excessive criminal activity on campus, but apparently some places off-campus are sketchy. Honestly, even then reports are infrequent.
.Transportation: The University provides shuttles to different places around the city/suburbs like grocery stores, malls, and downtown areas. University shuttles are free. The airport is about a mile from campus.
.Transportation: They offer many different bus routes and the schedules are great. You can get pretty much anywhere you need whenever you want.
.Local Area: As opposed to the big city atmosphere, Rochester is very personable and warm. People are friendly and nice. There isn't much to do in the city, but you can always find yourself enjoying your time with friends.
.Local Area: The campus is bordered by a river and park, so scenery is great. Shopping is a free shuttle away, though the ride is pretty long.
