在Boston University 波士顿大学就读是怎样一番体验，【携尔留学】给大家翻译整理了波士顿大学的留学体验，以供参考。
.Academics: Almost everyone here is dedicated to their academics. Professors are extremely helpful and dedicated to their job. The workload is manageable.
.Academics: Many courses take attendance, so it is required for students to attend all lectures (which really helps me study). Workload is not that heavy, and all the professors I met were lenient; they understood any circumstance I had which could have had effect on my grade.
.Academics: If you're at BU, SMG is one of the best places you can be. Plenty of students go to top firms every year, and we only seem to be getting more reputable.
学术：如果你在波士顿大学念书的话，商学院SMG（Questrom School of Business）是最棒的。每年都有很多学生能进入顶尖的公司，我们似乎变得越来越出名了。
.Academics: I choose to come to this school for the professors and because the program was one of the best in the country in my mind. The staff/ professors are involved in a wide range of activities and learning from them is amazing. You get a wide variety of ideas and inputs from professors and your peers who come from many different backgrounds.
.Majors: I love my major (health science), because it provides programs that are not only interesting but also flexible. This means that I have ample spots to take courses other than my major. Also health science program provides internship at my senior year, and I believe it would help me get a future career.
.Majors: I was expected to work on a satellite project. It has definitely been the best experience of my life. I have grown from this challenge. I believe I would never have had this chance to do something so rewarding and challenging if I had attended any other University.
.Majors: What they do first is they take the student's GPA (most important), decide whether to take the student in or not. Then, BU takes a look at your SAT/ACT scores, extracurricular activities, and then your essay.
.Majors: I love my professors and advisors. I visited many schools and attended two schools for my undergraduate and I feel like the staff here really cares about me. I've had some unique financial issues and the staff have been willing to extend deadlines and help me out in ways that y other schools were unable or unwilling. The internship and jobs available are also unbeatable! If your professor doesn't know someone at the place where you want to work someone in your program probably does and can help you get a foot in the door.
.Diversity: No two of my friends are from the same place, of the same race or have the same income. That's a huge reason why I love my school.
.Diversity: The diversity at my old school was nonexistent. There were only mexicans and they seemed to be treated better than the majority of the students there. They received better financial aid and teachers liked them better. This is the reason I am transferring.
.Diversity: There is no typical student. We all come from very different backgrounds and are interested in different subjects. I've met many interesting people in my time here.
.Athletics: Hockey is the most popular sport and we have an incredible team. Besides that, the other sports aren't as popular. FitRec is amazing and the PDP classes they offer are really cool.
.Athletics: Hockey dominates the athletics at BU, and then the rowing teams... our athletic center is probably the best in the country, and club sports (which I participate in) are very involved in competing and practice which is good.
.Guys & Girls: The guys and girls here are diverse in terms of interests but have a common thread since most of them like to well-dressed and love to work hard and play hard. There are a significant amount of people that are into the hook-up culture (cough cough frat bros and biddies) but it is not hard to find people who want to find a steady relationship. The girls are very attractive overall while the guys can vary from butt ugly to model worthy. Either way the people here are great and it will be not difficult for a Terrier to create lifelong relationships with the people at BU.
.Guys & Girls: The students are extremely diverse. To describe the guys and girls in general would be too difficult. Because of each person or group's uniqueness, it makes everyone more interesting once you do meet them.
.Health & Safety: Besides the usually blue lights, Boston University is in the city. Boston University Police as well as Boston Police are frequently in the area. I feel very safe at all times of the day and night. It's a matter of being aware of your surroundings and not being stupid.
.Health & Safety: It's important not to put yourself in unsafe situations. For example, I never walk alone at night. I feel that BU is extremely safe and administrators make sure that we have the necessary resources to be safe on campus all the time.
.Administration: Boston University is very strict on everything noted above, providing a academic atmosphere, yet allowing for fun and legal activities all of the time.
.Administration: It does alright for such a big institution and with all the liabilities it has, but it is pretty strict (at least in the big dorms) about alcohol, drugs and noise. There have been a lot of negative stories about being harassed when drunk and taken involuntarily to the hospital on an ambulance. Academically, it's a balance between having so many options and wanting to do so much to actually being able to do what in so much time.
.Campus Food: Honestly, since its campus food, the food is really not that bad. There's 3 dining halls: West, Warren, and Bay State. Warren has the best pizza and bread pudding. Bay State has the most options. I don't know much about West but I hear it has good burgers. Make a Difference Mondays are the worst but there's the GSU that accepts dining points and is just a food court so you know what you're gonna get.
.Campus Housing: The food is good, and the rooms are pretty clean. If you can get the great dorms (like StuVi) then you are golden, otherwise the dorms are just above average.
.Transportation: You're in Boston so transportation is not a problem. You have the BU shuttle running throughout the campus as the T (train). Plus its not hard to get a cab to and from campus and splitting it with a friend.
.Transportation: The T is a great mode of transportation to get around campus and around the city. The BUS is also the best way to get around campus, it is always on time.
.Local Area: Boston is an incredible city. It's rich in history and universities. It's a fun and safe city. I love all of the opportunities that can be found here. There are many sporting events, and forms of entertainment. There's a lot of shopping too, but I'm too busy with my studies to spend time shopping and my funds are limited.
